Pilates is a method of movement that trains the body and mind to build lean and toned muscles while promoting realignment, strength, agility, flexibility and mind to body connections. Pilates was designed by Joseph Pilates, a health enthusiast and educator in the art of movement. Pilates was intended to rehabilitate the injured and soon after became an effective regiment to staying fit and healthy. Each session is 50 minutes.
